Chief Executive Officer

Professor Dato’ Dr Ir Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz previously served as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs) and a Professor at Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Natural Resources in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). He has wide experiences in academic and field research. He is a member of Committee of Monitoring, Safety, Health and Environment, Project Lynas (Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation, MOSTI), a founding & committee member of Association of Malaysian Universities (AMU), and an Expert Panel in The Formation of Malaysian Board of Technologist, MOSTI. He has wide experiences in doing researches on Malaysian political landscape, election process, and public policies.


Chief Operating Officer

Syed Ahmad Israa’ Syed Ibrahim graduated from School Of Islamic Law,  Al-Azhar University Cairo, in which he is trained to deal with Islamic Jurisprudence and its relation to contemporary issues in politics, economy, and society. He previously worked as a research executive for Malaysia-Turkey Friendship Foundation, providing strategic informations for the foundation’s core business; global networking. He regularly writes on politics, ideologies, and societal problems of the modern world. He currently oversee the whole operation of IRIS Institute while pursuing his MA in Siyasah As-Syar’iyyah (Islamic Framework of Politics) at National University of Malaysia (UKM).

Mohd Zul Fahmi Md Bahrudin graduated from Monash University in 2014, where he obtained a BSc in Biotechnology. He is currently a research analyst in Interdisciplinary Research & International Strategy (IRIS) Institute. His research focuses on the study of Malay history, Malaysia History and also Southeast Asia History. He is also one the columnists in Focuss.my owned by IRIS Institute. He formerly worked as Research Officer in Pusat Kajian Arus Baru Malaysia, an independent think tank affiliated with Arus Baru. He writes on Malaysia History, Federal Constitution and also issues regarding multiracial society in Malaysia.

Luqman Abd Hamid graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2014. He is currently a research analyst in Interdisciplinary Research & International Strategy (IRIS) Institute. His research focuses on the study of Malay history, Malaysia History and also Southeast Asia History.
